Science Week
CLIB’s Science Week 2025, themed Change and Adapt, offered students an exciting exploration of how living beings and technology evolve to meet extreme conditions. The week began with an inspiring talk by Professor Pedro Arezes, who guided students through the challenges of planning a human mission to Mars. Form classes competed creatively by designing unique creatures capable of surviving in extreme environments, showcasing their understanding of adaptation and evolution. This year also saw the school’s biggest Science Fair to date, with 44 groups from Forms 4 to 9 presenting innovative projects and experiments. The week also included a thrilling house competition in the form of an escape room, where students had to solve science-based challenges to advance, blending teamwork, critical thinking, and scientific knowledge in a fun and engaging way.
