Literature Week
During the week of 18th to March 22nd, we traveled to the African continent for another edition of Literature Week.
During this literary voyage, we discovered figures and personalities of African literature in the three different languages of the School, by sharing stories and adventures in diversified activities such as the collective story writing, sharing of readings between classes and between parents and children and the presence of an author, Ana Caridade, who shared with us her passion for literature and for Africa.
This week was marked by another edition of the “Reading Fair”, in which Upper School students presented stories, poems and authors of the continent-cradle of Humanity.
The week ended with another edition of a “Book Fair,” where used books gained new life and new owners, populating them with endless dreams and adventures.
For an entire week, we opened up to Africa and brought Africa to us!
