Really, we believe that this study visit will be imprinted in their memories and will consolidate the theoretical knowledge learned in history classes, as well as enhancing their appreciation of the artistic and cultural heritage of Portugal.
This educational trip involved a visit the heart of the most iconic rock art in the Coa Valley, the Penascosa, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Douro, which, at this time of the year, is even more beautiful with its magical colours. The students also discovered the village of Castelo Melhor and visited the Museum of the Côa, where they further developed their theoretical knowledge as well as participating in a fun archaeological workshop.
Lunch while overlooking the magnificent Douro was the final farewell to Foz Côa, before the journey home, which was naturally marked by fun and friendship.
And everywhere echoed the comment, "How cool!"
