as part of a LTR task from the unit: Eco-schools. The main objectives were to raise awareness about different options of creating a garden, to reuse materials and to give them responsibility by taking care of their own garden until the end of the school year.
This task was designed as part of a big unit related with the 4 main themes of Eco-schools, which are energy, water, wastes and organic gardening. During last term, our students worked on these themes making solar ovens and designing systems of harvesting rainwater both in our school and the Cambodia School we are connected to. It was a very enriching unit that inspired all LTR students about their footprint in the environment of our planet.

The LTR Team
