With pride and enthusiasm we shared wishes of success and achievements that have marked these past years and have emphasised the bright future ahead us all.
Because our growth is not isolated, but yes one that takes highly into account the world around us, we have begun this new academic year determined to bring to CLIB two Afghan students through our partnership with the United Nations delegation in Kabul. This programme has as its main aim finding an effective academic solution for these Afghan students who, despite their huge abilities, don’t have future prospects due to the unstable situation in the country they live in.
The first activity to fundraise for these two students took place precisely on the day of CLIB’s birthday celebration. The famous “Ice Bucket Challenge” was replicated at our school, where the school Principal played the leading role. With this initiative the school managed to raise 492Euros!
We thank all those who participated for your great enthusiasm which turned a rainy September afternoon with freezing water into a warm and unforgettable day.
We would also like to thank the “The Cheesecake Story”, for providing a fantastic cheesecake for desert on this special day.
