The children researched into their own cultural backgrounds and each said a little something about themselves and their countries of origin. They also sang a song about the different ways to say hello in several different languages from around the world, then we highlighted on a map all the different nationalities represented in Lower School. When finished we had most of the world coloured in: the UK, France, Spain, Switzerland, Canada, Italy, Germany, Holland, Poland, Russia, China, the USA, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mozambique, Angola, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Mexico, South Africa and of course Portugal. This was a great representation of the interesting diverse group we have in Lower school. Thank you to the Form 1 parents who helped the children prepare, and well done to the Form 1 pupils for a lovely assembly.
