to have first hand contact with nature, participate in fun activities and socialize together with a relaxing picnic.
Lindoso was the first destination, where we visited the corn granaries (espigueiros) and the castle. We were fortunate enough to meet some local producers of corn and grapes who explained their work to the children.
We moved on to Soajo where we had a lovely picnic followed by a nature trail, flora and fauna spotting and then an art activity using the natural environment.
It was a day where time flew by and everybody returned to school feeling that little bit closer to nature.
