Road safety and citizens' rights with disabilities are the subject of a drawing contest at LS
Lower School recently undertook a road safety project to highlight some very important issues such as respect for the rights of others, courtesy towards the disabled and in particular towards their designated access areas and parking places.
As this is a theme that affects everyone, particularly at the entrance and exit of our school, and coming as a suggestion from some parents, we challenged our students to a drawing competition to raise awareness to this campaign in the school community. Our students from Reception class to Form 4 presented wonderful designs with two of them being chosen as overall winners: Xavier Gaspar in Reception and Maria Isabel Ribeiro in Form 4. Their drawings will be transformed into traffic signs to be displayed at school. Congratulations to all for your fantastic designs! And remember, safety starts with each one of us.
